  • Case Study 1 – International Contractor

    Mr. X was an international contractor with deposits in several different banks, plans with lots of different insurance companies and assets in separate jurisdictions.  He struggled to keep track of his unmanaged investments and was frustrated by the poor service and low deposit rates available from his existing offshore banks.

    AES opened a multi currency cash account for Mr. X within 48 hours.  When he logged in to view his balance he could also see all his other assets on this portal – including his houses, cars and existing investments.  He frequently received a schedule of leading deposit account rates and his adviser moved excess cash into these so he didn’t have to keep opening separate accounts

    Because he was paid in USD but had a requirement for GBP he saved over 4% of his salary by using our integrated foreign exchange services (some £3,600 each year)

    He invested his remaining funds directly into an actively managed and properly diversified portfolio and could see the value of these updating daily in his account.  AES also took care of all his tax planning and documentation to ensure he could relax with total peace of mind.

  • Case Study 2 – Retiring Expatriate Couple

    Mr. and Mrs. V were leaving the UK to retire.  AES completed the right residency documentation, opened them an offshore cash account, integrated this with the right type of investment advice, advised them on international pensions (QROPS), saved them in excess of £4,000 pa through our client foreign exchange service and completed their UK tax returns. 

    From a single screen in Spain Mr. and Mrs. V could see all of their assets and liabilities; could monitor their investment performance and ensure that they had the peace of mind of dealing with UK registered advisers so they could enjoy their time in the sun.

  • Case Study 1 – Corporate Service Provider/Accountant/Trustee

    Company Y was a corporate services provider/accountant that opened numerous client bank accounts.  They found the process time consuming and were often frustrated by the amount of time they spent chasing their clients for forgotten invoices. Furthermore, many accounts they did open were difficult for the client to operate and had very poor charges, access and terms.

    They outsourced the bank account opening process to AES who opened multi currency accounts for their clients.  We then worked with the appointed investment advisers to ensure the clients received outstanding levels of service and advice.  This saved the client time and expense whilst improving their referrals as the clients were so please to deal with an organization that understood their specific needs and was happy to cater for them.

  • Case Study 2 – Clubs, Societies and Charities

    Company X was a London club whose members paid their fees through annual invoices or standing orders.

    Their account manager then worked with them to increase their profitability and decrease their business overhead by automating their fee collection process through the integrated AES Direct Debit Bureau.  This meant they received their fees on time, with a clear audit trail, were protected from inflation and improved their cash flow and balance sheet.  The members were also happier as this method payment was more transparent and far less problematic. 

    The funds were deposited directly into their managed bank account from which we produced the annual accounts for the Treasurer to submit to the AGM.
